Art has played an integral part in my life for the last thirty years, I have been creating ever since I could pick up a paintbrush and have photographs of me cutting out paper patterns at 3 years old.

My studies began with the strong Arty backbone provided by a Steiner Education at The Bristol Waldorf School. This was later followed by a year studying a Foundation in Art at Bower Ashton in Bristol and then the completion of a 3 year Bachelor of Fine Art Degree course in Exeter. In the years since graduating I have exhibited and sold work in Bristol, Exeter, Plymouth, Totnes, Byron Bay in Australia and in Taunton, Somerset where I currently reside with my husband, children and whippets. I am a qualified Arts Award Advisor at Discover & Explore, Bronze & Silver and Gold Levels. 

I co-host a monthly creative club at Creative Innovation Centre, run an art club with adults with additional needs and care for my youngest child who is autistic.

I am an active member in my local arts community and feel passionate about making the arts more visible and accessible to everyone. I am the ceo of GoCreate and have been co-organising regular creative events in Taunton including Taunton Live Arts Festival, Taunton’s Got Talent and plans for Taunton’s first Pride.
